That one was obviously too easy - it is rather di-stink-tive

Got to give that one to Jane though Steph  .
She is now flushed with success.

O.K., I try it with a pic taken in 2001, but the cannon should be still there:

It does have a certain entertainment value doesn't it Gisela.
Oh yes! Can't believe I missed this forum for month! Now I know, what I missed, Steve.

No idea , Roland, but I would like to know, who's trying to jump into the cannon :?:

Cheers
Gisela

Hi Ronald

That picture would make a good subject for a caption competition, where you have to suggest what the guy is saying.

Something like:
Now I know I put that cannon ball in here somewhere, but it's so dark I can't see - Anyone got a match?

Is it up at Fort Cambleton?

Cheers
Steve

It's me on the picture, looking for hidden Caribs. I tell you, it was a lot of work for the rescue team to get my head back out of the gun! :D

It's neither BWI nor Fort Cambleton. I'll publish the whole picture when
I return from work, as I posted only a part of it.

I replaced the small picture in my above post with the original photo. Any idea now where it could be?

Bingo! Steph, a Carib at the Boathouse is yours on our next visit. (When? Don't ask..... ) Or do you prefer a loaf of German black bread? =P~

Steve P., another caption sprang in my mind:

Blimey, how can I take off this silly carnival hat?

And another caption suggestion -

"Roland realised that applying for the vacancy of human cannon-ball might have been a mistake".

Unlike many daft signs I see in Tobago this one at least says 'Please' !!

I am going to draw on all my wisdom and knowingness here and make a wild guess ...

Is this in the Football or Cricket stadium to remind people of where the standing area is (i.e.; the area with no seats in it)?

I'm afraid you got me with that one, Steph. My first thoughts were that it was in the Immigration Hall at Crown Point, but it doesn't look 'official' enough for that.

Not totally original, I know, but this one is bound to bring a smile to many faces. Anybody know where this sign is displayed?

remeber: it is NOT in the lowlands... think more green...

I know that they advertise beastly cold beers in golden lane or les coteau, but I think they have a better sign... :D

get guessing guys (I prepare another one meanwhile... yes steve, that one)

OK here comes the next one... it is more to laugh than to search.

if anyone finds the location of the first one ("please stand beyond the white line") until tomorrow night 12 o clock, he can collect a bottle of rum here in castara at the next visit (and another reason to come back to tobago)

here come the funny one:

clear message I would say
