Simply put, Glouster Place can lower anyone’s heart rate!

Win and Bea’s spot on the hill is a real pleasure; from the moment you pull up and get out of your vehicle you are blessed with sights and sounds of paradise. You can take a breath of fresh salty air, and relax. The clean, neat and simple lines of the house are a lovely foreground to the infinity pool which draws the eye right out to the crashing waves below.

Our stay in Parlatuvier was super. The house is an easy place to be - anyone’s home away from home. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The ktichen/sitting area leading out to the deck is equally comfortable and pleasant. Win and Bea the innkeepers are welcoming, open and relaxed while allowing their guests to have a quiet, uninterupted day of reading a book poolside or napping in the hammock if you so choose.

Being the nature lovers that we are, we were able to get the most out of the northern section of the island which includes waterfall walks, the quite shorline, and the tropical rain forest – all accesible from Glouser Place by foot or by car. Truly a birdwatcher’s paradise, over one week at Glouchester Place, we counted upwards of 35 bird species of birds without getting in the car. Included in those species are the impressively beautiful blue-gray tanager, blue-crowned mot mot and the ruby topaz hummingbird.

Sadly, we only had one week on Tobago (all spent at Glouchester Place). We could easily have spent another week or more lazily watching birds from the deck, cooling off in the pool, eating freshly caught fish, getting to know Parlatuvier, and taking day trips to neighboring villages.

It was a treat beyond measure!
