The roads on Tobago

Post by Carol Townsend »

Speaking as a non -driver( :!: ) I would say your opinion of some of the country roads depends on past experiences. My husband, who loves winding, difficult roads and loathes motorways, and who has driven in The Phillipines and up lethal mountain roads in Ecuador, thoroughly enjoyed himself!
We hired a 4x4 jeep type thing from Thrifty, and on arriving were given such clear directions we found Castara easily.
Cheers

Carol,I must say I am now becoming a little concerned over you.Are you now an addict?Every day(hour?) you have a posting here.
If you have become an addict,well......there is no cure.We could set up Tobago Anonymous, but the withdrawal may be classed as excessive punishment!
So th only remedy is more of the same(YIPPPEEE)

maybe steve has to open a corner here on the page for TAA... so every addict can just go there and talk about the island without botherung the poor future tourists too much... does not mean all your privious posts Carol, so far you still have advice to give and they are very informative, but after a while you will see, it turns out to be more crazy talk (anoraks, unmentionables and favourite rums,ha-ha).
just teasing

Er, um, hallo David and Steph.
Thing is, I have to get it out of my system with people who understand! My friends just switch off after a while(and they haven't even received my postcards yet).
Then of course, it's only polite to read what others have replied to your postings and to acknowledge them and...
Equally it's only polite to read other peoples posts, even if they are about scuba diving and other things I wil never take up.
Don't worry, I'm back at work next week, albeit part time, so won't have so much time on my hands :(
Cheers

My wife, Janette, believes that our local council here on the Isle of Wight has been secretly importing pot-holes from Tobago. Carry on posting Carol. I read 'em all.

Carol,

I have the same problem with my friends. I keep talking about how fantastic Tobago is and they have heard it now for over six months. They have switched off a long time ago...

I keep on reading, too!!!

@Tony: let them get some more of our pot wholes, if our roads get better from it

Have you noticed any of your pot-holes mysteriously disappearing? If you send a description I will see if I can find them over here. Janette actually likes them... they remind her of Tobago.
