Recommendations please...
My wife and I are off to Tobago in a few weeks time (Yay!!!)
This is our first time to the island and I hope we enjoy it so much that it won't be our last but I am looking for a little advice.
OK, for hire cars, I think I know where to go..(via Yes Tourism?)
What about tours?
We want to do an island tour, a trip to the rainforest and a boat trip (we may want to do more but this is a start).
The questions are:
Do you normally book all of this in advance or when you get there?
Is there one company that does all of these?
If yes then who?
If not then who?
There will be more questions, I am sure as we get closer to the day but I would appreciate any feedback...
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick
The answer to your question rather depends upon where you are staying. Yes Tourism operate tours themselves and offer bookings for all the good main excursions and tours. However, if you are staying up the Caribbean Coast in Castara, or anywhere along that coast, you should also consider Alibaba Tours (regular contributors to the forum).
At this time of year, it isn't essential to book in advance - but, you never can tell, and booking in advance is the only way to be sure.

Hi
I have just received a lovely email from Marlon and Rachel of 'Cocomotion' - unfortunately during the recent storms the boat broke loose from its mooring and sustained some damage so is in Trinidad undergoing repairs and are not sure how long it will take to fix. It sounds like we might have to book another holiday to Tobago next year so we get an oportunity to have a go on 'Cocomotion'!! Such is life x
