Tobago Express now Caribbean Air

Post by DM Tatnall »

Just returned from first (and hope not last) trip to Tobago. Flew from Atlanta, Georgia to Port of Spain. Was able to make reservations with Caribbean Air (taken over Tobago Express) and pay for the tickets with credit card over the phone, get e-ticket at airport. No problem!

WOW! Thanks for sharing that. Really great news. Was your flight with Delta? It has always been a gamble to reserve on Tobago Express.

Even better - you can now also purchase tickets online on the Caribbean Airlines website!

Hi there,

is there any benefit to booking the Trinidad to Tobago flight through Yes Tourism, rather than through the Caribbean Airlines website?

Also, will Leo (of Leo's B & B) be able to get me to the Trinidad airport early enough to catch the 545am flight to Tobago?

Thanks to anyone who can answer these questions for me.

Matt, re your questions:
1. is there any benefit to booking the Trinidad to Tobago flight through Yes Tourism, rather than through the Caribbean Airlines website?
A. Not any more, since you can now book and pay for your tickets online via the Caribbean Airlines web site. The CAL ticket is an eticket, so once you have your File Reference Number you just give them the info at check-in time and they will issue your boarding pass.

2. Also, will Leo (of Leo's B & B) be able to get me to the Trinidad airport early enough to catch the 545am flight to Tobago?
A. Leo's is located in Trincity, which is less than 10 minutes' drive to the airport terminal, and they are used to dropping people off to catch their morning flights. You should have no fears at all about not being able to check in on time for your 5:45 flight.
