Tobagophile Meet Up

Hi everyone,it seems like good few of us will be on Island for Carnival,so how about a meet up on Carnival Tuesday,before the parades begin.Anyone interested I would suggest Tino's Bar/restaurant at the top of Wilson St,opposite TSTT.It is clean modern and large semi open air,at about 130pm.

Sounds like a good idea. We have never been to Carnival. Never wanted to deal with the traffic. Long way to go from (as you say) the back country. Might try it this year.

We do like to go to the Pan finals. Really miss not having Shaw Park. Last year it was really bad, the big bands almost didn't fit in the space and almost no place to watch from. It's to bad they don't have the finals in D-York stadium. That would be the perfect place. Last year was the first time we ever saw anyone using the stadium. School kids were using it for track and field finals. I wonder who controls the events. A couple of years ago we had heard that it was going to be used for the Pans but it never happened.

Ah thats a shame we will just miss it then we are there 17th Jan to 30th Jan. Never mind I am sure we will meet up for a drink anyway whilst we are there David and Tony and anyone else who may be there at that time!

Hi David,

maybe you should have done this post last Carnival. I tryed to meet you a couple of times and never succeed I remember watching the parade and Overload told me he saw you around but as I didn't (and still don't) know how you look like...

Good luck to all visitors to meet David and a lot of fun on Carnival. Its great! Unfortunately in 2008 I can not make it (unless i win in lotto). Maybe next year Christmas.
