NYE?
Hello all
Just wondered if anyone had any advice on where to go this NYE in Tobago. We are a party of 5, but 3 of us are looking to go out (aged 19, 22 and 24) So we are looking for more of a club atmosphere no-where to formal! I know tobago isnt renowned for its nightlife but any suggestions would be welcome! We are staying in Grafton Beach, Scarborough if this helps..
Also any advise on good diving spots too as im hoping to do some when im there!
Thanks very much
Sarah

Sarah,Grafton Beach is not in Scarbro' but Black Rock quite a drive fron Scarbro'.I would think that the GBR would have something on for "Old Years Night",but mostly it is usually private parties.

Hi Sarah,
My partner and myself are also pondering the same question about NYE. We are both in our twenties and looking for similar NYE activities. Let us know what you come up with - the more the merrier!

Re: NYE?
I´ve been in Tobago twice during this time some years ago, in the Crown Point area. My memory of the Old Years Night, as they say in Tobago, is that tobagonians seems not to celebrate this evening so much compared with how we do in Europe and for sure in Sweden.
Private parties maybe, but not so much at public places, at least not at that time. I was told that many goes to the church that evening, to clean up them self for the new year, no party.
If it´s the same now maybe a party at some big hotel is to prefer, if they are open for non-guests. I hope to see some good news about this because next year I might be there myself during the end of 2008.
