Re: Prince Charles
did not see them, but the impact their visit had on the whole lowlands was rather "cute"... every junction of the highway had a police officer in special white uniform. some of them were just there to be ready for the important guests to pass, but some of them were obviously bored so they started handling the traffic although the traffic lights were working just fine
was a bit of a challange to figure out for every junction if you had to look at the lights or the proud police officers in their fancy uniforms...
some guests on our boat-tour that day could see the royal couple going for a swim at coco reef and were thrilled (the americans rather amused than thrilled...).
everybody in castara was imagining the comotion it would have caused if they where to visit castara...maybe next time...

Re: Prince Charles
Chaz and Cammy you mean? Yes as Chaz owns most of Cornwall I suppose David should watch his step..Jonathan Richards wrote: Good heavens! How can you speak so of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall?
Steph, I'm so glad the Americans you spoke of were amused rather than thrilled. Sensible lot...

Hmmm,
Cornish on the outside, Tobagonian on the inside. Fascinating, as Mr Spock would say in "Startrek".

We were lucky as we didn't even know they were there untill midday & wondered what was going on, we did speak to someone who was thrilled to have spoken to Camilla though & like you say the uniform's were very smartBrian Taylor wrote:did not see them, but the impact their visit had on the whole lowlands was rather "cute"... every junction of the highway had a police officer in special white uniform. some of them were just there to be ready for the important guests to pass, but some of them were obviously bored so they started handling the traffic although the traffic lights were working just fine![]()

They went on to the remaining part of British west indies afterwards, stopping by at Montserrat, admiring the smoldering volcano that puts a bit of pizazz into a weekly vacation there. "Will there be ashes or sulfur in the pool for Your breakfast swim today, mylord?"
