Princess Linda does sound better than some things I've been called, if I'm in a hurry and miss-type as I sign off, we could be back to Star Wars characters again! I think it's quite a lofty title to live up to though, maybe not one for a lowly caretaker while Her Majesty is away.
Have you ever workedout your Porn Star name? you take the name of your first pet and the name of the first street you lived in, which makes me Splish Wycliffe, my daughter is Honey Tanner! which has all sorts of conortations! how about the rest of you?

Nature can be horrible. Here's our little darling in action just outside my office. I've seen her guarding a kill against a charging fox. Nothing can persuade her to give up a live rabbit except her best friend, our Goldie, Topaz - who gets very upset when she's caught anything.

Well, we'll soon be off to our English paradise.
Taking the Night Riviera Train ( doesn't that sound exotic!) from London to Penzance tonight, passing through Watkins Land.
Think of me tomorrow at 14.45hrs BST. If the fog keeps away, it will be whoosh whoosh whoosh as the helicopter takes off, or, if foggy, at 19.00hrs chug chug chug as the Scillonian sets sail, in which case we'll arrive at our cottage at midnight.

David, you're the man on the ground, I expect you to keep the fog away! Ask Special Branch for some time off so you can come to Penzance Heliport and wave your arms around.

I'm handing over the orb and sceptre to Linda for safe-keeping, and I know she will keep the Waffle thread bubbling along while I'm away.
Linda, look after those men. Tony won't give you any trouble but don't mention wrestling to Bill and don't call David a cook!
You will notice that I don't count down. I'm an innate pessimist; a bit of an Eeyorian like my big brother and always think that Something Will Go Wrong, so I never count down!
