Missing Fisherman

Post by Louise I »

Hi,

We currently have a friend from Charlotteville staying. He has just heard that one of his friends has been missing at sea since Wednesday night and that a helicopter is searching. Does anyone have any news of this as it is proving impossible to find much out and understandably we are very concerned.

Thanks in advance

Louise and Winston (Blackmouth from Charlotteville!)

Hi Louise

How horrible for Blackmouth. I haven't heard anything personally, but to be honest, C'ville is so isolated that it is doubtful whether anybody outside the village will know anything/much about it. I have emailed a friend in the village, but I'm not even confident that they will check their email for several days, so you'll probably hear direct before we can report anything.

Hopefully our C'ville guru Phil Bondie will see this and may be able to contact someone. Over to you Phil.

Thanks Steve. If you know Charlotteville it is Lyda's (of Lyda's Bar) grandson who is missing. We have spoken to Blackmouths' cousin but C'ville being what it is not even she know much. I was just hoping someone else may have more news.

Yes it was Lyda's grandson, DaSa (spelling). He is back and safe. Yesterday he showed up in Guana Bay and called another local who went and picked him up. He was examined by a doctor and found to be in perfect condition. Don't know the complete story, if I find out I will report back. Phil
