Can anyone help me we are visiting Tobago on the 24th April 2004 for two weeks and would like to know what time the Sun rises and sets.
Thanks Ian

Hi Ian

Rather than going by memory (6am sunrise and 6.30pm sunset, give or take 10 mins), I thought I'd look it up. I wish I'd just relied on memory - there's civil twilight, nautical twilight, astonomical twilight and actual time - very few of which coincide with my memory.

Being only 11° north of the equator, the times of sunrise and sunset vary little over the course of the year.

Hope this helps and maybe someone local can confirm or correct my times.

Hi Steve, Ian

Yes Steve is about right, although my gardener thinks he can see well enough at 05:30 when he is strimming the lawn (which explains why we will never be hosting the Tobago Bowls Championships!).
