I would hope that you would get a reply within 24 hours, but I in truth I know that many of the local small businesses can take two to three days to reply. Is your enquiry general, or have you had problems getting a reply?

steve, have contacted them twice and i am very interested in a rental for april 14th through april 17, as per your recommendation i would like to use him, i'll give him a few till friday and then try someone else, tks for getting back with me. tom

I forwarded a copy of this thread to Sheppy. He has just replied saying that he has replied to you. Clearly the emails are not getting through. I confess this is not unusual as his address is with the local ISP (TSTT.net.tt) and they are notoriously unreliable on email. I sometimes think they lose more mail than they deliver and we have traced delays of up to six days on outgoing mail. Anyway, I've suggested to Sheppy that he re-sends his reply to you.

My first post actually.

I sent Sheppy an enquiry through this site a couple of days ago. I received Steve's confirmation it had been sent.

Fro your experience does it take Colin a while to reply? On your say so I want to use him in January when my son (30yrs) and I (Prehistoric) make our first trip to the Island.

Fantastic site by the way. It was this site that decided our destination. Well done

Yes, I'm afraid that Sheppy is not the world's quickest when it comes to answering email. Just one thing, though - make sure his reply has not gone into your spam folder. As you will have seen, we send the emails in a formatted html email and some anti-spam systems will tend to treat them as possible marketing information and dump them in the spam folder. Mind you, if you received your copy of the email, this is probably not the case. If you don't hear within a couple of days, its best to send him a reminder.
