Sheets standard;washing machine leaking .Owner promised cleaning urservice which never materialised.Owner always coming in to apt and making trivial comments re our cleanliness.Fridge under performing.I left early due to the above and owner refused to refund all rent paid in advance.

Mrs.Shirma Lyons-Wilson, the owner of this property, has asked me to post her following response to Mr.White's report:
Mr White stayed witha local young woman. When we negotiated the rates for his stay I did ask him if he would like to have maid service at least twice per month to do a general clean but he advised that they would have been able to do the cleaning at all times. I also told him that the apartment would be checked once monthly to ensure that he kept his word. Now Mr White stayed at my apartment on two previous occasions and I had to talk to him about the manner in which he had left it. On the third occasion, I refused to rent him the apartment but he pleaded with me and that was when we decided to put measures in place to avoid a future occurrence of the past.

According to our arrangement, I informed him that I wanted to check the apartment so we decided on a place and time. The apartment was in a horrible condition and his remark was that my standards are too high. I asked him again if he required maid services whcih ofcourse would have been paid by himself. He refused and decided to move. He requested a refund which was very ridiculous, in the end I refunded him some money which in my estimation was in proportion to his stay. After he moved out, Mr White found all sorts of faults with the apartment which he never mentioned before. Imagine he stayed there on two previous occasions and never once did he have a problem. No changes had been made to the apartment so it was seemingly strange when he mentiond these problems in correspondence after he had moved out. He also did threaten that I would lose business because he would spread negative comments in the UK about my apartment.

I have had other guests from all over and nothing like this has ever happened. I work in the Tourism Industry for over eight years now and I know how important it is to make your guests happy and I pride myself on doing exactly that. I worked at the Hilton Tobago since its inception until 2008.Prior to that I was in banking for in excess of 21 years and I have standards which I always stand firm.

I´m sorry for Mrs. Wilson about this post on top [-X , because I know her house and her family very well.

Her apartment is absolutely in the tourism standard and you can stay there in a friendly, warm atmosphere.
The apartment is well equipped, safe and clean for a very reasonable rate.
I know Shirma and her husband Clifford as friendly, helpful and open hosts.

You would be always feel like home. :D

Cheer up Shirma, such guests like Mr. White you don´t have deserved #-o
