We had a lovely time at Carpe Diem, and the views from the balcony (and even from the bed, in fact!) were as lovely as owner Chris promised. The walk to the beach is short, the locals were really friendly, and the peaceful, non-touristy ambiance of Castara was perfect for us. The apartment was well equipped. Although the gas stove leaked a little which gave the chief chef a headache, we have no serious complaints whatsoever. We would recommend this property for couples looking for mellow quality time and lovely sea views.
