My fiancee had some (strong) pain killers and migraine medicin with her. She did tick the box that she was carrying prescription drugs in immigration, but was more or less just waved through when showing what it was.

Re: perscription medication regulations
My husband has essential prescription medication (pills) that goes everywhere with us.
Several years ago, he got a "To whom it my concern" letter from our doctor explaining what the medication is and why he needs it. We have never had any problem entering any country with this - in fact, most times no-one actually wants to see it. £10 well spent!

Hi Rick,
don't worry, I carried several filled syringes with me. I also had a form from my doctor that I need this medication but never had any problems while flying.
Enjoy your holidays
