BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS FROM TOBAGO->TRINIDAD

Hi all,
Only 8 days to go for us before we head off to Tobago. We've got a couple of days planned in Trinidad, which is a new experience for us (believe we may have found a gem of a place to stay, but will report back on our return!). I was just wondering if anyone knew the baggage restrictions for the flight between Tobago & Trinidad - i.e. weight restriction, and baggage restriction regarding liquids.

Dear Mandy,
Caribbean Airlines' baggage restrictions for Tobago/Trinidad are one piece of check-in baggage maximum weight 50 lbs (22 kilos), and one piece of carry-on baggage (laptop cases are allowed as additional carry-on). They are however, used to travellers coming in from the US with two pieces of check-in baggage, and would usually accept the additional piece without problems.

Normal security restrictions apply with respect to carry-on liquids (ie 3 ounce limits) - if in doubt make sure they are in your checked bags.

I have almost always been charged for my second bag on Caribbean Air.

I wish they would give us a break.

We were in Tobago in January, and being scuba divers always have 2 bags each, plus carry on. My husband and I flew Continental to Trinidad, then to Tobago on Carib. Airlines. Continental now charges extra for 2nd bag per person, so we only took 3 bags total this time. We had no trouble with the extra bag going to Tobago. If you look closely at CA website, they say if you are coming in on Internation airline, they will allow 2 bags per person, no charge

Thanks for the good news! I found the info on the CA website and printed it onto the back of my e-ticket.

Looks like it became official December 1st.
