My cousin and I spent our first four nights in Tobago at Kia's and loved it. The cost was the most affordable I was able to find and the accommodations were much better than expected. The gardens are beautiful and it is centrally located so there is no need to rent a car (although there are parking spaces if you do). Store Bay is less than five minutes away and Pigeon Point is about 10 minutes away. In between, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars to keep you busy for a while.

There is some street noise that can be covered by the sound of the fan or air conditioner. The only noise that can be a problem would be if there are inconsiderate guests that slam doors and play music until 4am, which can be found in any guesthouse. However, the owner addresses any problems promptly and effectively.

I can't say enough about Karen and how hospitable she is. She gave us practical advice about visiting Tobago, such as what to pay for the glass bottom boat tours (and nothing more), recommending restaurants and tour guides, and what can and cannot be done without a tour guide (most people will tell you that you HAVE to hire a guide but I think that's just to support the business).

I will definitely stay at Kia's on my next trip to Tobago!
