Hi Janette, Nice to meet you, glad you have joined the family so to speak :D

Sandra,
Colin, Mike (a lifelong friend of Colin's), and Annie have been to visit me for the first time. We had lots of laughter as I know you will be able to imagine. It is my birthday today which is why they came this weekend. Suffice to say that it may take a while for my neighbours to recover
Unfortunately whilst we were out for dinner my beautifull adopted moggyTramp got run over and killed on the road. I returned to a message from mother to tell me that the cat was at her house for me to retreive.Rather the worse for drink we did so and then waited till this morning to find him a place with the other loved and lost four footed friends under the lawn.Mike helped me whilst Colin kept his distance. If you remember he is not good with things like that. so now I have only my 19yr cat Lady and of course the two Tiels. One way or the other I will not forget this birthday.
Love xx

Oh how sad Gill.
Yes, you will remember this birthday, but many happy returns anyway. Let's hope the next one is a happily uneventful occasion.

Gill

Sorry to be a horrible person but all I could do was laugh ! That is sooooo bad. Just imagined Colin wanting to help - and failing miserably. Imagined you hung over and digging - sorry I am the devils spawn !

I have been giving some consideration to considering whether I should give consideration to considering the option of giving my consideration to consider the considerations of considering making considerations about considering the consideration of giving my full consideration to consider which room to rent in Castara next February.

It's so confusing

Janette,

Welcome aboard =D>

Please don't let Paul's ramblings scare you away, he's just another one of the typical inmates of our happy "Asylum". Actually all things 'considered' he's one of the more stable residents

Gill,

Sorry to hear about your pet. Don't mind Sandra she's just being naughty again [-X I don't plan on reaching the BIG one as each time I approach it I redefine what the BIG one is

But assume you have not heard about the kitten story - if you had you would laugh too. Gill and animals just don't work. Gill and rum work a treat !!

Kitten story?

Have you heard about the monkeys in Trinidad?

I went on this trip and there were loads of Monkeys running around with tin openers.

I turned politely to my guide and said that surely tin openers were rather pointless for peeling bananas.

The guide turned to me and told me what a weak and foolish man I was and, apart from many other insults, informed me that the monkeys used the tin openers for their custard.

Now ... if that makes sense then please could someone tell me who supplied these monkeys with tins of custard, where they keep it, how long it will be before they run out and who supplied them with tin openers ... and I also want to know what impact this nonsense is having on the global economy.

Regards ... from a GOM (Grumpy Old Man)
