Hi,
Just wondering if end of february to middle of march is very windy and if the rain affect the visibility in the water generally speaking? what about waves? are they normal or more or less high that period? Just wondering because i will dive when I come.

Magnus,
February / March are perfect for scuba diving. The trade winds are stronger from December to April and the waves are higher than the rest of the year but the general adsence of rain (and mud in the water) lets the visibility improve just as much.

If the waves are heavy this can cloud the water and reduce visibility for snorkellers ... the beaches affected are Castara, Pirates Bay and Mount Irvine and, to some extent, Store Bay ... the areas unaffected are Arnos Vale, places where the reefs are a little way offshore such as Englishmans (if you can swim a good distance!) and you would need boat trips off Speyside and Pigeon Point.

Sorry ... you said you would dive ... if it's scuba diving you should not have problems with visability because most of the sites are offshore.

Yes Magnus, exactly.
The stronger breeze and higher seas between December and April do not have a negative impact on the water visibility at the scuba dive sites.
Enjoy your dives in Tobago.
