This was addressed back in April but my situation is a bit different. My flight from Miami is scheduled to get to POA at 8:20PM and I connect to Tobago at 10:15PM. Previous advice has been three hours but I don't have any luggage aside from my carry-on. If the Miami flight is on time, should I be able to make the connection?
My girlfriend arrives at 9:30 on the Delta flight from Atlanta to Tobago and I really don't like the thought of her spending the first night alone.I've told her to just get a taxi to the hotel if I'm not there on the scheduled flight.
Two hours at Piarco enough?

Re: Two hours at Piarco enough?
Patrick,
It is possible. I did just that last June and almost didn't make it because one of my bags went missing. Our trip was on Delta and you must be on American. Not checking any bags will make a HUGE difference in the time it takes you to get to the Caribbean Air desk.
Have fun, Hugh
What do you think Andy?

I'm on Caribbean out of Miami. It looks like it is usually on time. I can't imagine not being able to make a connection in two hours.

Patrick,
I think the fact that you're flying on Caribbean will help you too. They take care of their own, especially if you are booked all the way to Tobago.
So no worries.
Merry Christmas.

Re: Two hours at Piarco enough?
Patrick,
arriving 8:20 PM should be ok to catch the connecting flight to TAB 10:15 PM.
You will take close to one hour from touch down to check-in at the "Tobago" counter, inclucing customs and immigration procedures, which will take most of that time.
Checking in at 9:15 PM will be ok, but don't be much later than that. Especially whenever there is a crowd of stand-by passengers, they will be called approximately 45 mins prior to departure of the flight to Tobago.
Having read the above, you will see that your girlfriend, who will arrive 9:30 PM, does not have a chance at all to make it to the 10:15 flight. She may hardly be out of the customs / immigration area by that time.
Greetings from Trinidad,

Hey Andy. I knew you would chime in. Happy holidays to you.
Patrick's girlfriend is bypassing POS altogether coming in from Atlanta. Her only worry is celebrating with too much Carib or Black Label before BF arrives.

Hugh,
yeah i now realize i got that wrong. Well i think Patrick's GF will just be out of Customs / Immigration in TAB
when he will arrive coming from Trinidad. Not much time for her to lime in Tristar Bar, probably one Carib
Do enjoy your holidays

Thanks. I'm not worried about my girlfriend as she won't be in POS. Her flight is from Atlanta to Tobago.
