Matches

Post by Steve Bond »

Just a little thing, but if you're self catering, take a box of English (country of your choice) matches as the local matches are hopeless and you'll go mad trying to strike them. Especially irritating when desperately trying for your first cup of coffee.
Actually its not the matches but the strike panels - they just roll off. This sounds very picky when talking about the nicest place I can think of - but its a little piece of practical advice that is genuinely useful?
Good luck.

I have also been trying to use the local matches for many years, they only last for some time. But I believe it´s the humity you should blame (if it´s possible) wet matches does never work well.
I´ve stop using matches, I now mostly using a lighter instead. A good military one is also OK, such a one wich never use gas, only metal against metal.
