I heard from a friend that travels to Barbados a lot that Tobago offered very good waves and quite possibly the best right breaking wave he'd ever seen. I don't recall the name of the place but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the waves and the time of year they are better and so on. Also, is it possible to fly straight to Tobago without landing in Trinidad first?

Thank You

The best surfing spot in Tobago is located on the right side of the Mt. Irvine public beach facility. Saw at least a dozen surfers out there this morning. From December to March the conditions are really good, nice swell on Tobago's caribbean coast. I am not a surfer but will talk to the pro's later today.
If you can travel to Tobago without stopover in Trinidad depends where you're coming from but in most cases you will land in Antigua, Grenada or Barbados instead.

I also was wondering if anyone knew what the surf was like in Trinidad. I've heard it to be good and figured I would hit both places.
Thanks
