Banks at Airport

Will the Bank at the aiport be open when we land on a Saturday evening at c6.30 ?

If not, is there just the one ATM there - any experience about reliability here.

Would it be wise to bring a few TT$ to cover ourselves ?

Finally, for those in Tobago, what is the pound rate at the moment ?

Hi Richard

Check out the information section for all your anwers, but the banks will be shut when you arrive.

However, the Classic Tours FX bureau should be open upstairs at the airport (ask where) and there are three ATMS in close proximity or at the airport - one in the car-park, one adjacent the bar and one in the RBTT compound.

I always advise visitors who arrive Sat evenings to bring £50 worth of pre-ordered cash per couple, then benefit from the much better fx rates here on Monday morning.

You can get a pretty good rate preordering with travelex and picking up the loot at Gatwick.

Pay with the ol' debit card to avoid cash handling charges.
