Anyone flown this airline lately? We're flying into Tobago from New York on this airline and after reading a few reviews I'm a little nervous about quality, comfort, and timing. Any news?

Hi Trish

So if I tell you BWIA is awful you will cancel? I doubt it so sit back and review it yourself, for our benefit.

If nothing else you will be flying on one of the oldest airlines, and one of the few, in not only, airline which has never lost an aircraft to accidents or terrorism. I would rather fly BWIA than American Airlines into the islands any day of the week...

Have fun

Hi Trish,
I've been working for BWIA some years ago and can assure you that it is indeed a very safe carrier. The aircraft they use are new Boing 737-800 with a generous seat pitch.
BWIA is a true caribbean airline so their idea of punctuality is very laid back and informing passengers about delays is not their strength.

Make Sure You Get You Seat Assignments!

Post by Rory McEvoy »

Hi there!

The flights with BWIA are generally great.

Ground efficiency can be lackadaisical and indifferent.

Please make sure you have a guaranteed seat assignment for your homebound flight.

Is your flight "direct" or "non-stop"? This is a very important often misunderstood point!

Regardless, TOBAGO is wonderful!
