Hello all,

I have to share this. Luise Kimme, her work, her thoughts and great pictures from Trindad % Tobago from a long time ago.

Only just read this... it made me very sad to hear of her passing. I visited her on a couple of occasions and found her to be a wonderfully eccentric and hospitable lady. She loved Tobago and it's people. She will be missed... but leaves an incredible legacy in her art.

So right, Tony. Just as a matter of interest, does anybody know whether the museum is still open and/or what it's future is? Any information, either here on this page or by email to me (steve @mytobago.info - close the gap!) would be appreciated.

I would hope that the importance of her work would be recognised locally (as it is internationally) and that the museum would stay open. Of course it won't be the same without her presence. I wonder what happened to the stray dogs she took in?
