2014 Jazz festival

Does any one know the dates of the 2014 Jazz festival in Tobago. We visisted this great island this year but want to return next year to co-incide with the Jazz festival.

Welcome aboard!

The Jazz Festival is no more - and hasn't been for some years. However, the Tobago Jazz Experience has been an attempt to revive the full festival. I don't believe they have posted the dates for 2014 yet. You might want to keep an eye on their Facebook page at https://en-gb.facebook.com/tobagojazzexperience

The best parts of the, err ,"jazz experience" were the free concerts which went on around the island. There was a great beach concert/party in Castara with at least some bands actually playing instruments instead of singing to backing tracks on CDs of dubious quality! We had local calypso soca and 2 old school Reggae acts with a half decent sound system but the main thing was the great all day fun, food and party on the beach.
It is always fun BUT jazz it is not........

I also recommend Jazz on the Beach at the Mount Irvine beach facility.
This is for the real jazz lovers. Good party on the beach !
