I stayed at Shirma's for 7 weeks last January and all I have to say is especially when you are a medical elective shirma'S is the best place to stay.

The Apartments are huge and well equiped e.g. own washing maschine, own kitchen, living room, TV, aircondition (much better than my own place), and if you miss something you can always go and ask Shirma or any other family member.

So and here we come to the best part.
Shirma herself. She's the most friendly and welcoming person I've ever met.
She picked me up at the airport made sure I felt at home, gave a lot of advice and fresh grown mangos from her own garden (yummy)
She organizes a ride to the hospital in the morning and a pick-up-service for the afternoon (greetings to Donny) and goes for groceries with you twice a week.

All in all Shirma's is a home away from home and Shirma takes care of you like your own mother, so nothing to worry about.

P.S I'm so sorry it took me nearly a year to write you a report, I hope you will let me stay in your apartment again when I'm in Tobago again.
