Two friends and I have stayed for three weeks at Shirma’s apartment while we were working as medical electives at the Scarborough General Hospital.

We absolutely loved our stay because Shirma and her great family are very welcoming and helpful at any time. They tried to involve us in their lives so we could get to know Tobago and its people even better. They were always happy to answer all our questions and tried their best to help when we had any problems. They offered us great tips for traveling and knew the reasonable and reasonably priced driver Jackson who would drive us anywhere, even to Charlotteville, which is quite far away from Bacolet.

The spacious apartment itself is located in a safe area not far from the capital city. Bacolet beach is reachable by foot as well as two little shops. The apartments are equipped with everything you could wish for, they even have their own washing machine which is important especially if you are planning on staying for a few weeks. The nicely kept garden has a wonderful gazebo in its centre, where we could enjoy our dinners in the evening.

All in all we would totally recommend staying at Shirma's!
