I had an incredible time staying in Tobago largely due to the welcoming nature of Shirma and her family. From day 1 we were met in the airport by Shirma who gave us a lift to the apartment while stopping off at the supermarket on the way.

We arrived at a beautiful apartment! We were lucky to be staying in the largest apartment which was absolutely lovely! The bedroom was very large and the bed was huge and very comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped and the living room complete with TV was perfect! The place was very clean and to top things off the a/c was just what was needed on those hot Caribbean days! The apartment also has a lovely outdoor seating area where we would sit for drinks in the evenings or for dinner on some days. The garden is also lovely with a regular supply of delicious mangos!!

Shirma was also able to take us to the supermarket once a week and daily to the hospital where we were working for our medical elective. We also had a few trips out to try tasty doubles (a delicious Tobagan fast food wrap)!! Shirma also cooked for us a sunday lunch every weekend which was both plentiful and delicious!

We had a fabulous time in Tobago with much thanks to Shirma and her family for being so welcoming and helpful!

I would love to visit again some time in the future!!
