Thar she blows!!

Post by Steve Jackson »

Out on days boat trip on Natural Mystic in March saw something very special - small humpback whale with calf ( confirmed by skipper Scott ) being trailed by small pod of dolphins on our return trip from Cotton Bay - happens only once in a blue moon - caught on (very shaky ) digital for a few precious moments.

Carpe Diem

What a site that must have been, Steve.

If you've got a decent frame from the photo/cine, send it to me and I'll add it to your post.

Thar she blows

What fantastic luck.

We were surrounded, trailed and led by large pod of dolphins jumping and twisting, which was awesome. Also spotted a giant leatherback turtle at Little Tobago, which was great.

But whale and calf wow. Makes me want to get back immediately

We had seven hours out on boat snorkelling, fishing and watching. One of the main highlights of hols.

Love to see the pic. Well done
regards
James
