SO looking forward to our visit, especially after finding this wonderful site. In the process of making hotel reservations, I was told that Jan was very booked and of course early March due to Carnival. They said February was wide open. Is there any reason NOT to go in February or are we just meant to go on a special Valentine's vacation? Thanks for your input in advance!

Hi Erica.

February is the most popular month – when most of us Brits want to get away to the sun and out of the dreadful UK winter. There is absolutely no reason NOT to go in February - other than the fact that it is the busiest month (a relative term, because Tobago is never truly BUSY). Your travel agent’s comments are probably more connected with tour operator allocations. You should be able to secure reservations anywhere on the island this far in advance, so I would advise that you try a different travel agent/tour operator – or contact the hotel of your choice direct.
