My wife and I stayed for 2 fantastic weeks in March 2026 in Chaconia Suites , one of the eight 3 bedroom units in the Black Rock Dreams ocean front development.
We have vacationed at many places around the world and this has to be one of our favourites. From our very first night with all of our windows open and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, and no mosquitos or screens on the windows. Every room and the outdoor patio has an overhead fan which kept us very comfortable without once turning the air conditioner on. The kitchen has all the appliances, chinaware and cutlery you would ever want. You just have to supply the groceries. Or, if you don’t want to cook, there are many great restaurants to either walk or drive to. If you have a car there is one available underground parking space.
The development has a pool and a gated walk through connecting directly on to the beach. The beach itself is wonderful for walking or running with very firm clean sand and we took long walks every day.
Any minor issues that we had were promptly looked after by Liz , the suite manager. And a cleaner came 3 times a week to vacuum, change and launder sheets and towels and tidy up the apartment. All we had to do was swim and relax.
Tobago itself is a wonderful non commercial vacation dream. Many things to do from horseback riding in the ocean to learning to surf to taking a nighttime bioluminescence kayak tour.

The owners take a lot of pride to provide guests with an accommodation that is more like a home than just a rental and get great satisfaction when guests enjoy it as much as they do.
