Tobago Express

Hi again,

Just wanted to reconfirm the fact that Trintobagonians do things in there own time. On several occasions I went to Tobago Express at the airport in Tobago and the line ups were ridiculous. Make sure you are NOT in a hurry ever, lol. They had a ticket system in effect, but no one seemed to care. On the other hand the people in line were nice. It almost seemed like they did a big favour when you finished with them at the desk.

Anyway, as far as the flight from Trinidad to Tobago. The flight was on time and my luggage arrived.

On the way back I was delayed an hour, but it worked out alright. From what I understand there aren't many choices when you fly from those two islands. I think Liat and BWIA are the only other inter island carriers.

Be prepared for delays.

Yes, the timing. But TAB express has some good sides too.
It is the 1st airline i traveled on where passengers, seated at the emergency exit,get an extra training for security.
Also it was my 1st time that security at the airport seized matches and lighters. So, leave your Cartier or Dunlop at home.
The waitinglist. Hard to believe to get onto a flight when you have
more then 20 fellow passengers on the list. But it works.
I never got really "stranded" and they also fiddle in an extra flight
when possible.
Getting the ticket.....Booked via phone at the airport but my friend
was not able to pick it up. Only with positiv ID of passenger/ticket.
Better to go downtown Scarborough and get it at the travel agents
office.
