Hello Keeva

Welcome aboard!

Haven't got any information/experience of this myself, but contact Marie Daines ( [email protected] ) of http://www.TobagoWeddings.com

If anybody knows and/or can arrange it, it will be Marie.

I'm not sure about Catholic weddings, as my friend wasn't Catholic and booked a local pastor. But her mum is and she took the rings to the Catholic church in Scarborough to be blessed the night before and there was no problem. Sorry I can't be of more help (and Congratulations!)

Hi Keeva,
I know there is a Catholic church up at Delaford towards the Louis D'or end. Not very big, very Caribbean atmosphere.

It is up at the Speyside of the island which may not be what be what your after. It's the quite end of island which is rain forest, diving, bird watching and trecking.

Hi Keeva

You could try the Cathedral in Trinidad. This link is quite old (1999), but hopefully the numbers are still in use. It shows contact details for St Josephs in Scarborough:

Hope all goes well with the Wedding.

A couple that we met while in Tobago were going to a catholic wedding in St Josephs. The chapel is meant ot be fantastic, with plenty of open arches allowing the breeze to blow through the church.

From what I picked up out there, the people are mainly Catholics so I don't think you will have any problems.

Hi Keeva!

We were married in Tobago in February of this year. My one piece of advice - contact Marie at Tobago Weddings, as Steve suggested. I honestly cannot recommend her enough. We had considered a Catholic ceremony (for a parent's sake but didn't end up going that direction) and Marie researched the whole thing for us. Congratulations and I know you'll love Tobago as much as we did!

Hi Keeva

We have recently returned from Tobago and attended a serviceat the catholic church in Scarborough (even though we are not catholics!), I presume this was St Josephs, although I do not remember - too many rum punches since then! The church was beautiful and the priest who I understand is South American was really niceand came over to chat to us after the service, I'm sure it would be a lovely place for your wedding and Marie will be able to make arrangementsfor you.

Linda
