Dress Code

Post by J Russell »

Came across this website a few weeks ago when looking for reviews on the Coco Reef and Tobago and after reading the excellent reports booked up for two weeks with my wife and daughter.

This is our fist trip to the Carribean and the holiday is now looming (we fly out next Thursday) and my wife is starting to panick wondering what the dress code at the Coco Reef is like in the evening.

Any advice to help calm her would be appreciated, in other words is it very formal, or do people dress casualy, or is it very mixed.

Once again any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Julian

Hi Julian

Welcome aboard.

I think dress code is covered in my full review of the Coco Reef Resort and elsewhere in this sub-forum. However, it is simple to go over again - evening dress code is "elegantly casual".

For ladies, that means no short pants. For men, it means long trousers and a shirt with a collar - no short, 3/4 pants or jeans, vests, T-shirts or sleevless. Also for both, no flip flops or "athletic" footwear.

The dress code for the Bachanals beach bar restaurant is a little more relaxed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Steve, that advice will certainly help to placate my wife and means she can leave the tiara at home !!
