Last minute tips/advice

Post by Julia Wilkes »

Hello again everyone and thanks for the info regarding availability of cigarettes and chocolate.!! (Glad to have provided N. Muir some amusement!!! )Well only 10 days to go now and am worried about everything ,the weather, the food (fussy son) the sandflies.etc.Still if all else fails my son can get a 'Mars' bar,and i can have a cigarette.
Do any of you seasoned visitors to Tobago have any last-minute tips(you know the ones when we say,If only i'd done...') or advice? I think we've just about covered everything thanks to this FANTASTIC site-THANK YOU SO MUCH STEVE and everyone else.
One final thing, does the B.W.I have tea/coffee making facilities(note to N. Muir-just a little more caffeine) as i love my coffee especially with a cigarette and a bar of chocolate.!!!
We are all really excited about this holiday;we know it's going to be so different from any other we've taken and will let you ALL KNOW ABOUT IT WHEN WE RETURN..

Hello Julia

Glad we've been of help.

As regards your question about coffee/tea-making facilities, it depends upon your room category. Standard room - NO. Efficiency Apartments and Bungalows - YES.

Have a great trip and be sure to let us know your thoughts when you return.

Hi Julia,
If the BWI is arranging you taxi up to Speyside ask if "Bully" is available, He's a real steady driver and I think it's his car so he doesn't aim for the pot holes..

Have a great time, don't wory about the sand flys they didn't seem to be much of a problem at BWI.

Regards
Kevin

Hi Julia,

Don't worry!!!! Just look forward to your holiday.

One piece of advice I would give is to bring a deck of cards and a game like travel scrabble or something. If like I, you have a person in your party whose idea of a day on the water involves beer and a Lilo in the pool, then you may need a something to pass the time while you lime the days away!!!!

Have a great time

Joe
