Hi all,
I'm now very concerned, I am going to stay at the polo club in buccoo. Some of these posts have me seriuosly worried.
I will take the advice, carry small amounts of cash and leave the video camera at home. But what about personal safety?
reassurance required.
Les.

Hello Les

Just read the hundreds of positive posts in the forum, not the few negatives. We don't censor content, so what you are reading is exactly the response of the public. Go to Tobago and behave exactly as you would in your nearest home town, Woking. Tobago is NOT a den of thieves and robbers, but YES, incidents do occur and are sadly on the increase. Why are you going to leave your video camera at home? You take it on holiday in the UK don't you. The risk is no higher in Tobago.

Hi Les,I agree with Steve, for every bad comment there must be dozens of good views.Remember the old adage, bad news travels fast---good news stays at home.Just take normal precaution, just as you would on holiday in Europe.I feel a lot safer in Tobago than Tenerif or Turkey!!!!
Have a good holiday,it is a wonderful place
