Driving licence

Hi. We'll be in Tobago for two weeks in September and we're planning on renting a car. Here's my question. Is the standard European driving licence (the pink one) valid in Tobago or do I need an international driver's permit?

Hi Nikos

The pink driving licence (or EU photo-licence) appears to be acceptable for the car hire companies.

Suitable photo I.D should be carried by the driver, including the rental agreement and any insurance documents, to be produced if requested by a police officer.
