Hi

Can any one help solve a freindly dispute I have with a freind of mine.
In tobago do people get fined for driving defective vehicles. Do they get fined for swearing at a policeman.How long do they have to pay a fine.

are you about to get in trouble?
if you meet a cop in a good mood he might not charge you, but if he wants to he will. for a defective vehicle or not fastening your seatbelt, or not stopping at a stop sign they mostly charge between 100 and 200 TT$. If you don't pay, you get locked up and swearing at a police officer they take you in right away
...so better stick to the rules and "keep your mouth shut"....some people already got hard labopur for not paying and swearing, behaving bad in court....
SO BETTER BE GOOOOOOOD!
