Have just returned from a dream holiday on 'Paradise Island', and can't speak too highly of Sherwood Park. The apartments, pool and gardens are lovely, peaceful and far from mass-tourism, though we enjoyed meeting friendly fellow-guests of several nationalities. We had been a little worried about not staying on a beach, but from the moment manager Nigel collected us at the airport, and told us that he ferried to and from beaches every day, we were reassured. No problem! In fact the excellent staff, friendly and efficient, were a huge bonus. As we bought local food at local markets, and used local transport, we felt we blended into the environment. We also spent two wonderful days with tour guide Peter Cox, of Tobago Nature Tours, learning about the brilliant birds and plants of Tobago, and I'd like to send a separate review of these trips. All in all, the most fantastic holiday.

I visited the Sherwood Park Apartments recently and plan to do a mini-review. Sally's report comes as a pleasing, but not surprising confirmation of my own impressions of the property.

We stayed at Sherwood Park last christmas holidays and we totally agree that it's a wonderful place to stay. We immediately felt so relaxed thanks to the attitude of Nigel and staff. They really know how to stimulate your own way of explororing the island. Located uphill in the south means cooling seabreeze and close enough to beaches, Scarborough, rainforest etcetera. The kids (10 and 7) loved the spacious swimming pool and had great fun on different beaches. Nature is overwhelming. Sherwood Park lies beautiful in it's lovely garden. We had two apartments next to each other with deviding door. Yes, that means double rent but rates are very reasonable. Daily cleaning, airco, new balcony chairs, in one word: perfect ! !. We very much prefer this style (personal touch) comparing it to the luxury hotels. We are used to always try new locations on our holidays but we've become repeaters to Tobago and Sherwood Park (at least for once within 1 or 2 years for sure). Steve, we discovered your site only two days before departure, next time it might help us even more doing our preparation in advance, thanks for that. Regards Jan, Utrecht, Netherlands
