coco reef room advice

Post by Mike Davey »

Coming out for a week at Coco Reef in mid November (after Blue Waters in Antigua) and would like some advice on what room to request , we have booked a delux beach view (i think) , so some room number of the rooms with the best view / situation would be great , information on hotel lay out would also be good

Hi Mike

I think there's various comments in the forum from readers about room numbers, so have a good search. Whether you will get any room you requested is another thing altogether, particularly if you haven't booked direct. To be frank, it's entirely a matter of personal preference and I hesitate to mention any room numbers because I don't damn well that somebody else would disagree and put the case for a different area of the hotel.

The layout is very basically a long narrow two-storey complex (three stories for a short area in the very centre) with shorter wings at each end. The vast majority of rooms look out over the sea. Check-out our Review for more details of the hotel.

Yes. The gardens are lush and inevitably block some of the views from the ground floor. Truth is, the vast majority of people spend so little time in their room during daylight hours that searching for the very 'best' view is likely to be a low priority once you get there.

Rooms

Post by Andrew And Sue »

Hi

I have recently returned from the Coco Reef. I emailed them prior to our visit to request a room on the first floor and overlooking their beach. We may just have been lucky, but we got exactly what we asked for. They are great at the Coco Reef - a little bit of paradise.

The rooms on the first floor seem to have the better view, plus I asked for a room overlooking thier beach (not Store Bay beach). We had 245 and we had the most amazing view.

Enjoy

I have asked for 249 or similar based on comments on this forum which sounds similar to your room , hopefully this will be arranged
