Hooked, and going back for more

Post by Marc Jones »

At the risk of boring all and sundry with yet more personal musings and the like I'm here to say I am going back to Tobago this year!

I waited 8 years for a holiday and then two come along at once ;-)

A holiday next year looks unlikely so the family sat down and chatted about a "quickie" before Christmas. There was really only ever going to be one destination if I'm honest.

Despite a fantastic offer from Steph over at Sea-Breeze (thanks Steph!) we had to end up doing Virgin - as it stands their combined price for flights and accommodation are hard to beat if you have a youngster that is only opiated by the concept of seat-back entertainment!

We looked at the excellent Excel Premium Economy but we couldn't get the flights as cheap as the flight + a week at the Rex from Virgin. So back to Turtle beach we go!

Now to plan all the things we said we'd do if we went back and start worrying about the rain ;-)

It's sure going to be weird coming home to dark December but let's worry about that on the flight home!

Mr Wooler, you have a lot to answer for, my bank manager would like a word ;-)

Us too Marc! We returned from Tobago last month and I've just booked the flights to go back for two weeks just after Easter. :D

It's taking some getting used to going somewhere warm and sunny in the middle of winter (I've only veer gone warm in Summer or snow in Winter).

We felt as if we wanted to live on Tobago when we was there, I guess going as often as possible is nearly as good!

To be honest, at the price we just paid, I can't believe people even think about elsewhere!
