Hi All,
If any of you out there just can't be away from you're web sites email account for more than five minutes I think I've found just the thing. http://www.net2roam.com once you have set up an account you can get internet access all over the world and there is a Tobago dial up portal.
I can't wait I plan to give it a test when I go over in October.
Regards
Kevin

Hope you had a great holiday last month.
My wife and I are due to visit the island next week (arrive 8th November). I was not originally going to take my laptop but reading your article made it tempting as our son has just started University and, via MS Messenger, we could keep in touch.
How did you get on with net2roam? I would be intersted to hear before I sign up.
Regards

Kevin ...
OK Mr Flashy Pants ... firstly, may I share my complete and utter disgust to learn that you are to visit Tobago so shortly after your last visit ... it's just not fair ... how dare you ... diving, socialising, having fun ... whatever next !!
It's just not fair !
Anyway ... if such cool 'I've got a life ... HA HA' guys like you have got the time to report about mundane things like keeping in touch with the rest of the world in your spare time ... can you help me on one little issue ??
If there are Cyber Cafes around ... is it important to have things like Net2 roam?
It's just that I am wondering how to keep the weather reports going while I am there next March.
Jealous as Hell (with kindest regards, of course)

Hi Paul
You're going on holiday to relax, so forget myTobago. The weather's going to happen, one way or the other. I don't want to worry about your good lady catching up with me and giving me hell for you spending the holiday in front of a screen.

Hi All,
The net2roam, worked fine, HP Ipaq with a Motorola V600 mobile running a Bluetooth connection, if that makes sense to you.
I managed reasonable speeds with emails and the connection times were quick the bronze membership for 2 weeks cost £15 and the usage worked out about 32p/min.
Over all it was probably a bit more expensive than a cyber cafe but cheaper than hotel internet access and that was all that was available in Speyside.
Regards

Hi Paul,
I don't think this is going to make things better.
After getting some good diving in during rainy season in November and October for the last two years, I've been discussing going in the dry season (OK less rainy season) with the hope of really great vis and may be mantas.
With my work that leaves February or May as the options, I don't think I could stand 18 months without a Tobago fix so I guess it looks like next year so I may see you over there after all.
Regards
Kevin

Hi Kevin
Even though I have grave reservations (jealousy) about the amount of enjoyment you seem to get out of life I am really concerned that I would miss the opportunity of meeting you because I will be there from 14th March to 5th April.
You are looking at Feb and May ... or both .!. just to wind me up of course !! Come on ... give it some March and we can have a ball !!
I might even go on a PADI course so you can protect me from those nasty Barracuda.
Can't deny you that 'Tobago fix' though, mate.

Now if we had something like this from The Netherlands, I would be sold (hooked) for sure. I'm leaving November 13th for the second trip this year! Three weeks of bliss and although I can deal with the slow internet connection in Castara for email, this sounds quite interesting. Shall I bring my laptop again?
Tobago fix is taken care of. Internet? Any input is welcome!

Hi Paul,
Unless the lottery comes up it will be February or May. Sorry March is out I just don't have the time off, you just have to have that rum punch with out me.
Don't worry about the barrcuda, once you get tn the water there will be loads to take your mind off them.
