Bucco, No Man's etc

Missed it last time, back for a week next week... any reports on trips here? Considering a boat trip with some snorkelling and maybe a sunset cruise in one (if at all possible!).

Views, tips and the like most welcome.

Hi Marc,

try to get in touch with Richard on Store Bay, he is a lifeguard that works with Harris. He has two boats a small fishing boat or a bigger boat. He will bring you out snorkeling and he will also be able to give some fantastic guidance with reference to the whole geology of the island. He has a degree in Geology and he loves talking about his home. He is also extremely friendly and helpful and he knows the best spots and times for the sunset, he brought us to pelican island and it was fantastic. He will probably throw out a few lines while you are in transit, but if he tries to spin you the yarn that the last people in the boat caught 15 Tuna... don't believe him, we got 2 tiddlers

You are a lucky bxxxxr though, off to Tobago again, I wish I could afford it!! Have a great time, and a stag or two for me!!

Joe

PS did your team make the record? I haven't seen you gloating so I have a funny feeling....

No Mans land

Post by Gisela Grell »

Hi Marc,

a few years ago I went to Bucco and walked all the way up to NoMansLand along the beach. For more than two hours only beach, sea, palmtrees and nothing else (no people!). I really enjoyed this walk, although I had to cklimb over rocks and walk a short way through the see, it was amazing.

At Bucco Beach I met a lifeguard who told me he would watch out for me. When I came back after more than 4 hours he was really glad to see me, because he thougt I got lost :D

Enjoy your stay!
Cheers

Joe, we matched it, broke and remain unbeaten!

78 games since a league defeat - I saw all but one of the games.

I'll miss one when I am in Tobago, but it's a price worth paying! (and it's away so it's not going to be too much of a shame).

I think a trip out around Bucco etc is something I ought to squeeze in. I'll tip a Stag for you for sure mate.

PS, you could always do what we did and chop in an endowment policy and jet off :-)

10 Weeks :!:

That's a big mortgage.

I am sure you will catch the odd light shower in that time ... presumably you will have access to the forum while in Tobago to keep up with the forecasts?
