Coco Reef

We arrived back this morning feeling a little jet lagged, but well worth it for the wonderful holiday we had at Coco Reef resort.
We thought the hotel was really lovely, and the staff so friendly, always ready to chat or help in any way they could, and we didnt feel this was false in any way. The hotel was spotlessly clean, could maybe do with a little updating in some places, but we would certainly recommend this lovely hotel. The beach and facilities were excellent always plenty of beds, ice cold bottled water throughout the day, fresh fruit, and ice cold flannels handed out in the heat of the afternoon, heaven.
The beach and sea were so clean, and although comments have been made about it being a man made beach resort, we honestly didnt feel this spoilt it in any way, excellent place and fabulous holiday., Cannot wait to return, we are hooked. :lol: :lol:

I agree with Sue. We spent one week at the Coco Reef, and one week at Blue Waters Inn in Speyside, which made an excellent combination. We enjoyed the Coco Reef very much. The only thing I would say is that the food is overpriced, so don't eat in unless you're all inclusive.

We enjoyed our recent stay immensely. Conclusions:

1. Staff are great;
2. Go all inclusive or B&B: anything else gives rise to hassles working out what is to be paid for;
3. Most internal shops are expensive: if local tel. charges at $TT3.6/min are accurate, they too are expensive;
4. Many of the performers were great - a pity there seemed to be no announcement or list of who was to perform when.
5. Get settled into Tobago time as soon as possible.
6. It would be nice if the internet PC in the hotel worked, but the Internet cafe around the corner is good vale at $TT20/hr.

Strategically, we think Coco Reef could do with an air conditioned restaurant for the hotter, more humid evenings.
