Crown Point Beach Resort - Quick Review

Post by Roger Wyatt »

We spent two nights at the CPBR in January this year after ten days of hopping around the island.

The resort offers excellent access to excellent Store Bay beach, pleasant grounds away from the relatively busy Crown Point area, a good restaurant and rooms and rates that provide excellent value when compared to a Coco Reef or Hilton resort.

The rooms and cabanas (we stayed in a cabana) are aging but are kept up quite well. Service was excellent - including security for folks that might think that important. Complimentary access to the internet (though only one computer by the registration desk) was helpful.

We would certainly stay at the CPBR again and recommend it to friends.

Here's a quick review of the Crown Point Beach Hotel from me too:

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days just last week (November 2004).

I've rated this hotel as very good in the poll.

I think the location is prefect. Walking distance from the airport, but i haven't heared any noise from the planes. And it's located directly next to Store Bay. Pigeon Point is about 20 minutes walking (or a few minutes drive if that is too much for you in the hot sun 8)).

We had a studio (the cheapest room), which was very good considering the price. The room was nice and clean and had a great view from the balcony. The bathroom was simple but good. There was a big fridge and a simple kitchen in the room, but we didn't use it.

The hotel has a pretty big garden area around it (where the cabana's are located) which looks very nice. We have been in the pool only once and that was good as well.

I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a good hotel for a reasonable price.
