Fisherman's Carnival/Party

Hey guys,

Does anyone know when the fisherman's carnival/party is this year and if there will be a 'jump up' on Castara Beach again?

We attended 2 years ago and had a great time!

Sorry Chris T but it was the weekend of the 23rd of August and I have to say it was a great day out! Boat race from Scarborough with Eldon fist as usual in Big Winner with Kibwe 2nd as he swooped tanks halfway up a 'discussion' that went on for hours ! ( " He was robbed , "etc etc )
Competing sound systems, food and drink stands. Castara 'fisher folk ' did a great trade in fish broth at 20TT what you needed to soak up the alcohol and the music went off at 11.30
It really was a great day and the next morning the beach was being cleaned up really early before most people had risen.

Was October/November time last time we came!

Oh well.....guess Sunday School it is for our partying next month!
