ATM cash withdrawal limit

Hi. I am visiting Tobago in two weeks time and am unable to get any TT$ in UK before I travel.
Would anyone know how much I will be able to withdraw on arrival at the ATM opposite the airport?

Welcome aboard!

I must be getting older and more forgetful than I imagine, because although I use those machines during every visit, I confess that I've forgotten. However, I believe it might depend on your card. I have a vague recollection that I used to be able to draw TT$3000 (about £325).

republic maintain that there is no limit on credit card withdrawals.

debit card withdrawals were limited to 3000tt during lockdown and can't tell if that ever got revoked. not sure if this is related to the number of bills the tray is configured for - some folks suggest that it's 30 (so 30x100) but that seems a bit random.

these limits are separate from the card issuer's limits so multiple withdrawals up to that total is possible.

just one last thought - are you on Tues or Fri ?

Fri can see increased demand on the ATMs given that it's payday for a lot of people and also shopping day and also getting ready for the weekend day. However, there are a number of ATMs in the vicinity of the airport so should be OK.

Depending on your accommodation you may well pass others en route

We arrive around 5pm on a Friday. Hopefully we will get some cash sorted at the airport. I'm sure there will be others on our flight in the same situation!
I feel a lot more relaxed about it now thanks to this forum!!
