Museum Buccoo is located upstairs the La Tartaruga Italian Restaurant.
Pre-columbian artifacts and Colonial history 1628-1860.

Exhibits with photos, old maps, books, details from the conservation project of the
Tobago Heritage Conservation Society who have been conducting archive searches and
field work in the seven parishes of Tobago recording a great number of heritage built assets: ruins wind & water powered sugar works; cattle mills; dams, sluiceways, cart bridges, and water management system colonial era; kilns; indigo factories; tombs and Churches; cannons and batteries; over 300 cast iron pans “coppers” at their locations; memorials; estate houses; vintage structures; Fort King George; walking itineraries; trails; waterfalls, scenic points.

Virtual presentations cover many topics such as: History of Sugar 8000 BCE - 19th Century; History Island Defenses 1773; Comparison Sugar works Grenada vs Tobago 1860; Lighthouse;
Argyle, Inverawe, Kendal Place & Belle Garden Estates; Richmond, Kings Bay & Golden Grove Great Houses; Burleigh Guest House; Lure Estate; Rocky Point.
