New Virgin flights July 2005

Post by Graham Jones »

Virgin Atlantic schedules for 2005 indicate a second weekly flight on Thursdays, commencing 7th July 2005.
Ideal for those who like to fly Virgin but want more flexibility than 7/14/21(!) day holidays. At present this is possible with BA,(we are doing it three weeks today :D), but BA flights stop in Antigua both ways :( , whereas this is direct.

Hi Graham

Be cautious about booking this flight. It was apparently announced by Virgin Holidays before plans were finalised. There is some doubt about whether the flight will go ahead, largely because it is dependent - I am told - on Tobago completing the airport extension and improvements. Given the pace of life and work on Tobago, it is doubtful that the work will be finished. It's very much a matter of "watch this space".

Thanks Steve.
We shalln't be booking ourselves, as our trip is this November, but they are in the Virgin schedules at http://www.virginholidays.co.uk/caribbe ... 2005.shtml.
Also the online booking facility at Virgin is offering the Thursday flights when you search for flights in July/August. Prices are very high for August at around £829 including taxes for economy!
